Hi,

I came across the following problem last evening. I was listening to a
internet radio station, browsed to another radio station via "My Radio
Stations" and added that to the playlist. Then I went to the playlist
and tried to remove the original station, which was playing (don't ask,
why I did it this way, I was just playing around with my new Duet...:)

Well, it didn't remove it, and it wouldn't remove the new station
either - so I cleared the whole playlist. I then went back to my radio
station to select the station again. Then I started playing that
station and at the same time, the Duet controller unit jumped back to
home menu. Now, the strange thing was that on the menu there were only
items "Settings" and "Information Browser". Under Settings >> Home menu
(where you could select home menu items) there was only a few items
left. It didn't connect to the music source either and e.g. the
wallpaper I had selected went back to default.

I tried to figure out what has happened for a while, but couldn't do
too much. Controller's wireless signal indicator was white but e.g.
firmware update didn't work. Finally I clicked factory reset and had to
do all the setups and set preferences again (which wasn't nice but at
least it was back to normal after that).

Has anyone else experienced similar problems? And how to avoid them in
future if possible? I've had the Duet for about a week and so far it
has worked ok (except for problems with my ZyXel router). Earlier I had
one hickup when accessing Squeezecenter through computer and the
controller simultaneously, but nothing this serious.

I'm running latest 7.2. on a Qnap TS-209 II. SqueezeCenter was
accessible through my computer even after the menu items disappeared
from the controller.

Thanks for any insights on this matter!
