The latest version 2.00 PSP firmware (available today for Jap machines, "soon" for US) includes a web browser (from NetFront) and it works very well with Handheld (Fishbone is just about usable too).
Unfortunately Handheld suffers from the same "Browse Artwork" bug as NetFront 3.2 on my iPaq - the first and second album artwork display OK, then subsequent album artwork repeatedly overwrites the second album image. A minor issue however, but would be nice to see fixed :) Version 2.00 at long last includes WPA-PSK/TKIP which is working a treat with my Linksys WRT54GS (running Alchemy firmware from Sveasoft but should be fine with stock Linksys firmware also). PSP firmware download details 'here' (http://forum.lik-sang.com/showthread.php?t=5843). However I think the 'Nokia 770' (http://www.nokia.com/nokia/0,1522,,00.html?orig=/770) would probably make a better remote control - using the analog joystick on the PSP to navigate along with the relatively small and low res screen means it's sometimes a chore to find what you want - a larger screen with touchscreen capability would be my ideal. -- Milhouse _______________________________________________ Discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
