...the moment I walked out of my office last night, I realized
"If I'm setting my bitrate < 44kbps, that'll mean my sample rate
will be below the necessary 44MHz." [forgive me if my metrics
and science are wrong, but I think the concept is there]
Sure enough, that was it.
If only I hadn't lost all 20K tracks the evening before and if
only I hadn't decided to resample that one batch of mp3s so
low...
