All the processing? That's not quite what Pat said, and it's a bit misleading. There's a lot of intelligence on the Controller, which is one reason its user interface is so nice and snappy. Downside is that, for technical and legal reasons, it's a LOT harder for 3rd party developers to make changes to the way the Controller interface operates, and what is shown on its display. If the Controller does what you want, it's great. If you want it to do something considerably different, you could be out of luck. Despite the Controller relying on Linux and other Free Software, it's nowhere near as adaptable as the Classic/Boom/Transporter. -Peter -- peterw http://www.tux.org/~peterw/ free plugins: http://www.tux.org/~peterw/#slim AllQuiet BlankSaver ContextMenu FuzzyTime KitchenTimer PlayLog PowerCenter/BottleRocket SaverSwitcher SettingsManager SleepFade StatusFirst SyncOptions VolumeLock ------------------------------------------------------------------------ peterw's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53049 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
