You don't need to run archive analysis to add tags to the files.
Are you running MusicIP headless, or just get SqueezeCenter to connect to the 
MusicIP GUI directly?
If headless, you need to reload the cache after using the MIP GUI to analyse 
new music.

I wouldn't depend on Browse Music Folder to add music to the database.  That 
doesn't do a full scan, I believe.

I guess the MusicIP plugin is not called to do a scan when you browse music 
folder.  Without my patch, it would have refetched the whole MusicIP library 
content and merged it into SC each time, if it were to perform the MusicIP scan 
too.

Sounds like my modified MusicIP plugin has not been installed correctly, or you 
have ticked the "Read Song Data" checkbox.
