I was using Avira Antivirus, but I read a couple of posts online about AV Software interfering with slimserver so I uninstalled it, thinking this would make a difference.
Didn't make a difference unfortunately, it still has the same problem. Could it be a Firewall setting? I've (as far as I know) given Squeezecentre maximum permissions in my Firewall. Could it be a Router configuration setting? (I dont know much about networking....but I can get online!)* Does DHCP Vs Static IP kind of thing come into this problem? I see from other posts this problem seems to have came up in Ver. 7.2..would an earlier version of Squeezecentre not have this problem? I am actually using the latest build 7.2.1..
