This is correct, except that I am pretty sure that gapless MP3 is only
supported if the encoding was done with a reasonably recent version of
LAME (sorry, forget exact version number). Other MP3 encoders and
earlier versions of LAME won't play gapless. And yes, there is no
software switch for gap/gapless playback.
