For those that may be reading this thread wondering what can be done
aside from reverting to 7.2, I have found that squeezeslave is a viable
alternative.  Actually, I think I'll continue to use squeezeslave in the
future.  I was using it on my server and never thought of using it as a
remote player.  It works quite well.

For this to work, you have to have port 3483 forwarded in your router
just as you have port 9000 forwarded already.  

For now, I look at my router to determine the IP address.  I'm going to
look into a way of getting my ip address given my dyndns name within a
batch file so I can automate bringing up squeezeslave.
