I agree. However, most people compare data-transfer speed by looking at the differences between USB, Firewire, SCSI, SATA etc. without looking at the drive's sustained transfer-rate specs. You might need a whole bunch of disks in raid config to fill up the controller bandwidth. The only significance of this for SB/SC is when making a back-up of the music.
