I had problems with my Squeezebox Duet since the day one. Flac files started to play but after few seconds the started to get choppy and totally unlistenable. MP3's and internet radio worked fine. I tried wireless and ethernet connection and they both had the same problem.
After weeks of wondering I decided to connect my PC to router via another network adapter and there was the solution... don't know why though, but who cares, I was happy. :) I then decided to buy Squeezebox Classic for my bedroom. I connected it and now it had the same problem than my Duet used to have. I tried wireless and wired connection but it didn't have any affect. I ran network test and it showed that after 320 kbs the performance starts getting weaker. But my livingrooms Duets performance was rock solid. Last week I reinstalled my Windows(Vista 64bit)and hoped this could help... but now my SB Classic works fine and performance is 100% and Duet stutters with Flacs. Both players are connected to router via ethernet cable, so there isn't any wireless network issues. I'm getting really frustrated.
