SC manages the entire SqueezeBox system. You both are really quite wrong about what it should do. Its basic feature is to display album titles, artists and tracks as you scroll through the list, and then to play those albums. Since incorrect album titles are very common, and those incorrect titles are displayed in the receiver display panel or on the controller for Duet, SC should most definitely be able to fix that problem. To say that SC is not a tagger is correct, but to say that tagging is not something it should be able to do is absolutely incorrect.
