There is an update to the story. Monster Cable dropped the lawsuit and payed all of Monster Mini-Golf's legal fees. This came about when the top people from the two companies talked person to person instead of through their lawyers. Monster Cable will be changing the way they protect their trademark from now on. There was a good interview discussing it on NPR today.
