You may want to read this: http://penguinlovesmusic.de/ipeng-application/how-to-use-the-ipeng-application/general-usability/ Short: Make sure your Navigation bar shows the "Play" symbol ("|>") instead of "Add" ("+") or "Add Next" ("|>|"). You can toggle between those modes by tapping on the symbol. You can play an album either by "touch-and-hold" on the Album, by tapping the cover or by going into the Tracks view and tapping the track to start playing at.
