Do you mean the IR remote? The IR remote acts directly on the player while iPeng (as well as the Squeezebox Controller) talks to the server. The PLAYERS do have a "play other tracks in album" functionality, but the server does not, so there is no "play album from track x" command in SqueezeCenter. What you have to do is: 1. Stop Shuffle 2. Start Album 3. Skip to track X 4. Restore Shuffle If your server responds quickly, this will all happen before the first track starts to play but if the response is slow, the player will start early. The only way to avoid this is by doing 1. Stop Shuffle 2. Clear Playlist 3. Load Album into Playlist 4. Go to index X 5. Start Playing 6. Restore Shuffle State But if communication is slow, this can easily take 4-5s, and I was trying to avoid that delay. > > 2. I think my first answer in this post will answer your question, too. iPeng does not talk to the Boom directly but only to SqueezeCenter, SqueezeNetwork is not yet supported, but I hope to have it included in one of the next releases.
