Thanks for the quick reply. You should add that in order to benefit from
the SSID broadcasting, you should uncheck the "Connect even if this
network is not broadcasting" option for this network on Windows
clients. Otherwise, the Windows clients will still be vulnerable to the
KARMA attack.

Maybe this is exactly what happens with the SBC if you configure the
network automatically: It does not broadcast the SSID and thus cannot
connect if the access point stops broadcasting, too. If this is the
case it would be more secure to use the automatic network
configuration. The SBR would still broadcast, regardless.

I have switched the SSID broadcasting back on and can confirm that the
SBC can still connect to the network with the configuration I set up
earlier tonight. As of now, I will leave it at that, but I am sure that
I am going to redo the configuration once more, soon.
