I was just about to send my Squeezebox in for repair when I read your post and decided to try DIY repair once more (I had already tried removing the network card and reseating various connectors). In my previous efforts, I missed seeing the connector between the mainboard and the daughter card (I assumed the two were soldered together). Re-seating the daughter card in its socket did the trick. Now I can put my CDs back in storage ;).
