I have a question about my old slimp3 player that i now have in my bedroom. I've bought a wireless bridge from D-link DWL-G810 to connect my old slimp3 to my wireless network. I can only get it to work when i use the config on the slimp3 to use DHCP and specify my slim server by ip-adress. The option to use DHCP and slim discovery protocol (everything automatic) don't work.
I don't have static ip-adress on my slimserver so i'm not fully satisfied to use DHCP and manual ip of the server on the slimmp3 player. Do you have a clue why the full automatic ooption on the slimp3 doesn't work for me? (i can't find anything about this on the forum..)
