I used to serve the music from my PC with no problems at all but switched to a NAS so the computer doesn't need to be on. I do wonder if the responsiveness of the web interface also extends into the serving of the music. I only use MP3 and AAC and nothing is higher than 256kbps. -- NeilC *network:* netgear dgn2000 wireless-n adsl router | netgear hdx101 powerline | netgear gs685 5-port switch *hardware:* squeezebox duet (lan) | squeezebox v3 (wlan) | netgear readynas duo (lan) *software:* squeezecenter 7.3.1 | mediamonkey v3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ NeilC's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2787 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=58254 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/discuss
