> Could this be the issue? I'll give it a try. Yes. In this case the ReadyNAS has to transcode the files to something the players understand (FLAC, WAV, MP3). This is heavy load on the ReadyNAS. Go to Settings/Advanced/File Formats and try disabling transcoding to FLAC and use AAC -> WAV instead. Would this help?
