My iPeng skin sorts on year in this case but that might have to do with CustomBrowse. Yes, I think it makes much more sense with the albums sorted on year. Until CustomBrowse is supported I would very much like a setting for this. A little the same thing as a requested earlier, an option to switch artist and title in album and new music view to make the artist name appear larger. It's more likley that you know the name of the artist rather than the name of the album.
