I have a "G" model and it seems to work well with good range and reliability.
Does anyone know if there are hardware (component) differences between the "G" and "GL" models? GL is a bit more money. For people who intend to keep the stock firmware, as most do, it might be unnecessary to spend the extra money if the models have the same guts. But, maybe they don't.
