Well - I may be unusual but I like this feature. If I want to see on;y "proper albums"... I browse albums, not artists. If you set up the sort order properly for each browse, they appear in the same order. I like to see artist - album - year (ascending) which is the way I have organised my physical media for nearly 40 years.
