running 7.3.2 - 24695 @ Mon Jan 19 18:55:04 PST 2009 I use squeezeplay on my XP work PC to stream music from home. It does seem much more reliable than softsqueeze - though I do like softsqueeze more. There are several things it seems to be missing - unless I've missed something.
a) Ability to enter server name rather than just IP address (I use dyndns to track my home IP) b) Volume control option. The only way I've found of setting the volume is via SC web interface or the overall wave device volume on control panel. c) Choice of sound output device. It only seems to use the default - which means sharing the headphones with windows sounds. Does anyone know if these are on the roadmap or if there are any workarounds?
