This is probably not the original DVD-A bitstream that's being played. The problem is I think he has extracted to 24-bit, 6-channel PCM, then compressed that to FLAC. This will not play because we don't support more than 2 channel audio.
When DTS/AC3 is being passed through to an A/V receiver, the trick is that it's encapsulated in what _looks like_ 2 channel audio, but it is NOT PCM until it gets decoded by the A/V receiver.
