This is how it worked for me. When I first fired up SqueezePlay, it was out of sync with my hardware player. I had the SP sound coming out of the PC speakers while I listened to the hardware player through one ear of the headphones. Got a feel for the delay that way and made a guess at what to enter for the "Player Audio Delay (ms)" setting. Turned out to be the right guess and it synced up perfectly after that.
