So your Music Folder in Settings>Basic Settings is designated as "\\computer_name\x\music\", correct? Or are you using both local and network, or exactly how do you have your music storage structured? I've seen problems in the past where SqueezeCenter tries to normalize file paths by taking a network share and replacing it with a local mapped drive wherever possible. There have been some changes in the code around this, but network paths have been problematic for SC and I doubt if all the issues have been fixed.
