I share your view, I wish all of them well. With all the RIFs going on, this is not a good time (and Silicon Valley is not currently a good place) to be looking for a job. It's too bad that people just disappear in the night, without any announcement or comment from the company or any of the various employees who are active here. But I guess it's necessary given employment law and practices, lest something said be viewed as tarnishing someone's reputation.
