Clear, simple, accurate - no bullshit, evasions or acronyms. I guess there are common usages in the USA that don't conjure the same scenario, and that's where the confusion arises.
Whichever - it's a sh*t when it happens, and there is plenty of it at the moment. Real shame to see people who are part of a community like this having to move on for whatever reason.
