I am fairly certain that power off for the Boom and the SB2 are identical: they are really "standby" modes. SC sees them, and they are ready to accept remote commands from the IR remote, Duet, or web ui. There must be something else that's different in your setup. (Fyi, my server sleeps fine with any of the Boom, SB2, SB3, SBR powered "off".
