The free version of Pandora doesn't seem to be any different than the paid version for us at the present time. For the Itouch and Iphone crowd it seems to put up an add on their screens and cause a 10 sec delay between songs for now. That's from my son who told me about it. He is 16 so a 3 sec delay could feel like 20.
