Normally the SBC will connect to your router the on to SqueezeCenter. Whether the Receiver is wired or wireless it connects to your router then on to SqueezeCenter. If you have the Receiver wired, it has the ability to let the Controller connect to it and then through to SqueezCenter. No matter how they are connected, the Controller doesn't controll the Receiver directly, everything goes through SqueezeCenter (or SqueezeNetwork, which is just a big SqueezeCenter on the internet for radio).
You would use either the digital outputs or the analogue to connect to your amp, not the ethernet port. -- funkstar my collection: *1*x boom *2*x controller, *1*x receiver *2*x sb3 (sliver/black, *1*x sb2 wired (silver), *1*x sb (black) *1*x slimp3 (with rear shield) interested in any others if you have them! ------------------------------------------------------------------------ funkstar's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2335 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=62641 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
