I usually agree with your comments, Moonbase, but not this time. SB products are simply sound sources. CD players, tuners, turntables, etc also are sound sources, and don't typically have such adjustments.
I don't personally think that adding such features would have a positive effect on sales. Anyone who wants to make tonal adjustments can do so of course by running the signal through a receiver or preamp. Active speakers that lack adjustments are useful (I have some) but are not a typical part of an entry level sound system. Or, at least, don't need to be, if the ability to make adjustments is desired. I think the SB user experience is overly complicated now, and that hurts sales now. Adding features to the UI or more branches on the menu tree would represent steps in the wrong direction. -- Goodsounds ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Goodsounds's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14201 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53094 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
