Hey Rick As for the sound quality its really good, I have vintage gear bought when I was younger and didn't have a family, they were an OK set-up at the time and have been bullet proof.
I'm feeding the SB3 into a Perreaux Pre and Power Amp set-up with straight wire cables to Old Heybrook Speakers, also inherited a pair of Richard Allan speakers that round out the base nicely.
