SuperQ - You could be right with the packet loss and problem downloading the firmware. On the flip side I was actually very impressed how well the sqeezebox responded based on the setup being far from ideal. Last weeking I bought a Duet as well. I really like the controller since I was having trouble searching for albums on the classic with all the lights off in my bedroom.
