Can you be more specific? I'm using SC 7.4 and iPeng 1.1.1. I can't find where the Rescan option is. I thought it was somewhere in More > Settings. I can't find it now. I also noticed that iTunes Update won't allow me to set a rating. I could do that with SC 7.3 and iPeng 1.1.
