pippin -  I think we both agree.  I do not want them to compromise the
architecture to make it easy for people to use because the arch. is the
key reason I like the Squeezebox.  Making it simple for a non-techie to
run is important but is very difficult.  I know Windows Home Server has
an API for adding services, that could be a nice path to go down.  Might
do it via an interface layer on top of the core service so that you can
maintain the cross-platform while adding the hooks for WHS.
