That setting is irrelevant - it defines whether compilation album artists will also appear in the Browse Artists list. I'm guessing that the problem could be one of two things: 1. the way the music library is scanned - perhaps if iSam is using the iTunes import method, it doesn't get the compilation or album artist information? Could try pointing SC music library at the music source folder and disabling iTunes plugin. 2.
