Simon, hello and welcome to the Forums and the wonderful world of Squeezebox. Sorry to hear your having a problem. Knock on wood my Squeezeboxes are no longer under warranty and all still doing fine. I think your real question should be whether or not your unit is still within the factory warranty. If not, I am sorry to say this but you are most likely barking up the wrong tree. After all it is an electronic device and parts can just up and die even with the best of manufacture's intentions (which is the case with SC). It could have been something you did or just a simple power surge. Hardly anything lasts for ever and if its electronic it might not come back on the next time any of us hits the power button.
