I don't think many people were aware of the law so they never pursued their rights. It was on the BBC1 news segement last week which brought it to my attention. This is big stuff. It completely undermines the whole extended warranty business!! Like some people have reclaimed unlawful bank charges, it is feasible that you could reclaim extended warranty costs if you could prove it was missold.
