Yes it sets the appropriate registry key which is checked by LightsOut
Add-In for WHS before an action is performed.

Without the LightsOut Plugin for Squeezecenter or another modification
to the ServerPowerControl Plugin my gharris Squeezebox Server will not
prevent LightsOut from shuting down/hibernating/suspending. LightsOut
will present you with some options on what to do if no WindowsClients
are active. Out of the box it is unaware of any other service running
and simply performs its action. The LightsOut Plugin for Squeezebox
Server overcomes this by temporarily setting the LightsOut action to "do
nothing" while you are listening to music and reverting back to the
desired action set in the LightsOut Plugin Settings when no music is
being played.
