Hi toby10, My ADSL modem has a built in Wifi router. My mac connects wireless and yes, unfortunatly there are more networks in the neighbourhood. I think my router uses just g. It supports b and g. If it's important I can try to find out what it currently uses. The mac, SB and router are the only devices in my network.
