Re: Using Foobar or Mediamonkey as main player

Coning from the Transporter/Squeezebox world, I have hesitated for
months to install a PC in my audio rack because music listening should
be a couch potato activity. If only a PC would be as friendly as the
Squeeze world.

Is there such a thing as a Squeezecenter bridge to the PC player
(similar to SkweezyDs for the Lin DS) that makes the PC player acting
like a Squeezebox, so all Squeezebox functionality can be accessed.

I know about Softsqueeze, but as far as I understand, it is a resource
hog. And if I wanted a bit perfect player for 24/192 music through
Firewire to a Weiss DAC, I need something proper like Foobar mr
MediaMonkey?

Sorry I am new to this.
