If covered by insurance at all, I'd suspect the deductable far exceeds the value of a an SB3. Years ago I had an electrician put in an 8 foot ground spike connected to my main panel and also spike/surge protection right in the panel. Was under $200 installed.
For the OP: - SD has a very reasonable flat $90 repair charge for SB3's regardless of what is wrong. I presume that does not cover shipping though. - Check your credit card terms for automatic "buyer protection" where the cc will extend the mfr warranty up to 1 year (giving you 3 years of coverage). *some restrictions apply. :) -- toby10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=67087 _______________________________________________ discuss mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/discuss
