To me this is a clear indication that both the hardware and software
(as it relates to the Touch) are nowhere near ready for retail
distribution and that the dreamy "will be out in September" guesstimates
in here are very overly optimistic.

I'd bet the customer support people are not even trained on the
hardware yet.   :)
