Hey MC. From the spec sheet it says it has digital optical (Toslink) which supports Stereo, 5.1 Dolby, and DTS. And of course it has HDMI which is going to cover a bunch more formats. So basically no analog 5.1 as it only has stereo RCAs. >From the Spec Sheet: "The HDMI has been configured to the 1.3a spec, allowing full support of HD Audio pass-through for DTS HD-HR, DTS HD-MA, Dolby Digital Plus and Dolby TrueHD.
