It's likely that Anoop genuinely didn't believe you had a real unit, as
the retailer should never have sold it to you before they were supposed
to. Obviously your posting here proved otherwise.

In any case it's a colossal mistake on the part of the regional sales
and marketing group. It never should have happened.
