Using Wine under Linux works as long as you: 1. Open up your linux firewall to allow traffic on TCP port 8124 2. Install the dsound.dll and lame_enc.dll files in the Spotify directory as per the normal Windows installation. 3. Under the libraries tab in winecfg, add "lame_enc" and "dsound" DLL libraries as "native, builtin" and apply.
