I've been using 7.4 for about a week and it seems to work very well. I had to sign back up for the services via the controller as the mysqueezebox page wasn't working properly, but other than that I haven't had major problems.
Also, in general, I like the changes to the controller operation and appearance quite a lot compared to the older versions. It's more intuitive to use and looks much more polished.
