Thanks for your response. I installed the version as prompted on the SC webpage - where it says a new version is available, click here to download etc. I guess that was v7.4.0. but the firmware was v130. I've since tried 7.4.1 but that still gives me v130 firmware. Tried rolling back to SC 7.3.2 and the associated firmware which all worked fine. I have a 2nd SB3 (later logitec black version) which took the v130 firmware withoutout issue. It seems that my slim devices SB3 doesnt like firmware v130 but is ok with prev revisions.
