Okay, I understand now. Just for clarity, at this stage there is *one*
touchscreen device (the SB Touch) and it is landscape oriented, not
portrait. And there are various ways to carve up the player offerings.
For example, the SBC is SqueezeOS-based like the SB Radio and SB Touch.
So to some degree they will continue to evolve together, even though the
Radio and Touch are major departures on the hardware side (esp
processors).

And I hear you about the "endangerment" with respect to 7.3.3 versus
7.4. I've moved everything in our house over to 7.4 except for the one
that my wife uses pretty much exclusively. She likes 7.3.3 and doesn't
know why we should have these new devices, even when Logitech gives them
to me for beta testing. When I finally switch that one over I don't know
if I should plan to be around to provide tech support or if I should run
and hide....
